The Flyer picks up and drops off directly under the skywalk on Albert Avenue. Look for the Michigan Flyer signs.

Our Motorcoach departs E. Lansing for DTW daily at:

3:00 AM, 5:30 AM, 7:00 AM, 8:30 AM, 10:30 AM, 1:30 PM and 3:30 PM.

Parking is available:
Michigan Flyer clients may park their private vehicles at our East Lansing City Center parking ramp, connected by a covered skywalk to our office/departure location. Ample parking spaces are reserved for Michigan Flyer clients - but ONLY on the fourth level of this convenient parking ramp. You will find this exclusive 4th level parking area marked by signs "Michigan Flyer by permit only". The cost is only $2.00 per day but is only available by prepayment to Michigan Flyer. For your convenience the parking fee may be prepaid in person at our office or online. Please enter the ramp from Charles Street and open the gate by taking a parking ticket. If you choose to park at our convenient ramp, please print your parking confirmation and place the bar code on your dash board for scanning.  If you are prepaying at our office a permit will be provided.  PLEASE NOTE THAT the parking fee in the City Center East Lansing ramp must be paid to Michigan Flyer. A Michigan Flyer ONLINE BAR CODE or a parking permit must be displayed on your dash when parked and presented when exiting the ramp.

If parking fees are not prepaid to Michigan Flyer, vehicle is subject to City of East Lansing parking rates.

Jackson

Our Jackson location is at the Jackson Hotel and Conference Center (formerly Holiday Inn)-TRAFFIC NOTE-Northbound  US-127- Springport Road Exit is currently closed- please allow extra time to take alternative route

Our motorcoach departs Jackson for DTW daily at:
3:40 AM, 6:10 AM, 7:40 AM, 9:10 AM, 11:10 AM, 2:10 PM, and 4:10 PM.

This location offers limited parking at a rate of $2.00 per day, payable directly to the hotel. A parking mirror tag must be obtained at the front desk.

Four Points by Sheraton Ann Arbor

Our Ann Arbor location is at the Four Points by Sheraton.
 
We pick up at the Sheraton Hotel's main/front enterence.

The Flyer picks up and drops off directly in front of the Sheraton. Look for the Michigan Flyer sign. The Flyer departs Ann Arbor for DTW daily at:
4:30 AM, 7:00 AM, 8:30 AM, 10:00 AM, 12:01 PM, 3:00 PM, and 5:00 PM.

Limited parking is available:
This location offers parking at a PREPAID rate of $2.00 per day. Passengers wanting to park must obtain a voucher on line on our reservation page.  Please print the voucher, fold it so only the BAR CODE is visible for scanning and place it on the dash of the car.  This BAR CODE / voucher will need to be displayed on the dashboard while parked at the Boardwalk Michigan Flyer / Hertz parking lot.  The parking lot is located on the east side of Boardwalk across the street from the southeast entrance to the Sheraton. Turn onto Boardwalk and find the lot across the street from the Sheraton South driveway.  Look for the Michigan Flyer Hertz Parking sign.
 
Umich students and staff with yellow lot parking privileges, may also park at the Wolverine Tower Yellow located 600 feet north of the Four Points by Sheraton Hotel entrance.

The RIDE - the Ann Arbor Transportation Authority (AATA) web site can be found at www.aata.org, use line 36 Wolverine Tower line if possible. 



Blue Cab -  Check out Michigan Flyer's special flat rates with Ann Arbor's finest cab service Blue Cab.  They can be found at http://www.bluecab.net/ or call at 734-547-2222.  When calling for a cab advise the dispatch staff that you are requesting the Michigan Flyer special rate and which motorcoach run you are reserved for.  The Blue Cab rate from Ann Arbor's Sheraton start at $10.00.  Night service can be as low as $5.00 (see BlueCab.net for details on the night service).

Sample Blue Cab flat-rates for Michigan Flyer riders to/from the Sheraton are:

Central/Downtown Ann Arbor including UM Hospital: $10 per person.
 
North Campus or West Side of Ann Arbor: $15 for one person or $10 each for more than one passenger
 
Ypsilanti: $20 for one person or $15 each for more than one passenger
 
Saline: $20 for one person or $15 each for more than one passenger
 
Chelsea: $35 for one person or $25 each for more than one passenger

If you are having family or friends drop you off we pick up in front of the hotel entrance. 



Passengers with carry-on luggage only:
May proceed directly to the skywalk by following signs to "prearranged/ground transportation." After crossing the skywalk take the escalator (or elevator) down one level. Stay inside the glass enclosed area until the motorcoach pulls up in front of door 402. Door 402 is located between Checker Sedan and Hertz rent-a-car shuttle stop. We do not have a "Michigan Flyer" sign at the McNamara Terminal. Please call us if we can assist you in reaching your departure point.

Passengers arriving from an international arrival hall:
Must exit the immigration/customs area and go up two levels to the skywalk. After crossing the skywalk take the escalator (or elevator) down one level. Stay inside the glass enclosed area until the motorcoach pulls up in front of door 402. Door 402 is located between Checker Sedan and Hertz rent-a-car shuttle stop. We do not have a "Michigan Flyer" sign at the McNamara Terminal. Please call us if we can assist you in reaching our departure point.

Passengers who are retrieving checked luggage at the baggage carousels:
From baggage claim take the escalator (or elevator) up one level to the skywalk. After crossing the skywalk take the escalator (or elevator) down one level. Stay inside the glass enclosed area until the motorcoach pulls up in front of door 402. Door 402 is located between Checker Sedan and Hertz rent-a-car shuttle stop. We do not have a "Michigan Flyer" sign at the McNamara Terminal. Please call us if we can assist you in reaching our departure point.

Smith Terminal:
To reach the Michigan Flyer boarding point at the Detro Metro Airport, Smith Terminal, you must exit the baggage claim area - ground level. Take the cross walk directly outside of the baggage claim area for United Airlines. (United Airlines sign is posted on top of terminal overhang.)

After crossing the street, continue walking on the same sidewalk until it ends. Look to your right - you will see the Smart Bus Shelter - Shelter #1 - Michigan Flyer will load next to this shelter. (There is no longer a Michigan Flyer sign at any terminal.)

The Smart Bus Shelter is to the right (east) of All Rent-A-Car Shuttle Buses (Hertz, Budget, Alamo, Avis, etc.)  Please wait for our Indian Trails / Michigan Flyer motorcoach at the Smart Bus Shelter.

Berry Terminal
Michigan Flyer services only the Smith Terminal and the McNamara Terminal. (There is a free blue-and-white shuttle service between all three terminals.)
