At Michigan Flyer, this is one of our merriest (and busiest!) times of the year as students head home for winter break, families jet off for holiday gatherings, and travelers trade Michigan snow for… well, slightly warmer snow.
🎒 Students Are Heading Out in December
December brings a major wave of students traveling home for their much-deserved break. From East Lansing to Ann Arbor and beyond, campus is buzzing as students pack up their finals-weary backpacks and head to the airport. If you’re one of them—good news! We’ve got your ride all set… but seats are going fast.
✈️ And Returning in January!
Once the holidays wind down, students return with new energy (and maybe a few extra suitcases of cookies). January is just as busy on our routes, so return-trip reservations are just as important. Think of it as your New Year’s resolution: Book early, travel happy.

Because the season is so full of travel cheer (and travelers!), we’re expecting many of our buses to sell out throughout December and early January.
