If you're looking for a weekend full of art, music and creative energy, the East Lansing Art Festival is worth the trip. Michigan Flyer provides daily service from Detroit Metro Airport, Ann Arbor and Brighton to East Lansing, just one block from where the festival takes place.
This year's 62nd annual festival runs Saturday, May 17, from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Sunday, May 18, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. The event features nearly 200 artists, live performances, poetry readings, hands-on art activities for kids and an Artist Demonstration Area with interactive workshops.
During the festival, our East Lansing stop will move to the northeast corner behind the Marriott hotel on Ann Street. Street closures begin Friday, May 16 at 5 a.m., so all pickups and drop-offs after that time will be on the corner of Charles Street and Ann Street until 8 p.m. Sunday, May 18. Please follow all posted signage when arriving.
